TypeScript
The language behind every project we ship — frontend and backend.
TypeScript is not a technology we choose per project. It is the default across everything we build: Angular, React, Node.js — all of it typed, end to end.
Types catch mistakes while we write the code, instead of after you find them in production. On projects measured in years, that difference compounds.
It also makes handovers honest: a typed codebase documents itself in a way comments never keep up with.
When we reach for TypeScript
Every frontend we build
Angular is TypeScript-native, and we write React in TypeScript too. Untyped JavaScript does not ship from here.
Shared contracts
When frontend and backend share type definitions, a breaking API change is a compile error during development — not an incident after release.
Long-lived codebases
Types make refactoring safe, which keeps a five-year-old codebase changeable instead of frozen in place.
Team handovers
If your in-house team takes over from us one day, a typed codebase tells them exactly what everything is — precisely, not approximately.
How we work with it
We run strict mode everywhere, avoid escape hatches like any, and let the compiler do the reviewing it is good at — so human review can focus on design and logic. Our core team is comprised of 2 senior devs, with a trusted specialised network adapted to the project’s needs, and shared, typed contracts are how a small team stays fast without stepping on each other.
TypeScript also anchors our legacy work: when we modernize an old JavaScript codebase, adding types is often the first step. It surfaces the hidden assumptions before we change any behaviour.
